- PWS - Performance Work Statement - Group Life & Personnel Insurance for LNDH - Local National Direct Hire Personnel assigned to 426th Air Base Squadron located at NATO Joint Warfare Centre, Stavanger, Norway. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). "Availability of Funds" applies to this solicitation. No legal ability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible contractor whose offer conforms to this RFQ and the attached PWS, who has the technical capability to meet all the requirements and will be the most advantageous to the Government. This solicitation should only be addressed by firms doing business in Norway or with the ability to conduct business operations in Norway. //Schedule of items: This requirement is for Group Life & Personnel Insurance for LNDH - Local National Direct Hire Personnel assigned to 426th Air Base Squadron located at NATO Joint Warfare Centre, Stavanger, Norway. //CLIN 0001: Group Life & Personnel Insurance for the following individuals: Hans Kind, Odd Roald Lund, Carole J. Simonsen, Susan E. Svendsen, Stian Berg, Jan Kaarbø, Stephen G. Skinner. See attached Performance Work Statement. //CLIN 0002: Group Life & Personnel Insurance for: William Kolnes. See attached Performance Work Statement. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. The contractor must show the cost for Mr. William Kolnes as a separate item in the quote 2. Invoice with contract number and amount in NOK must be sent to: Department of the Air Force, 426 ABS/LGC, P.O. Box 54, 4097 Sola, Norway. Upon receipt of invoice, it can take up to 45 days before payment is being made by DFAs Limestone, Maine, USA. 3. Only quotes submitted in English will be considered. 4. All contractors submitting quotes must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) within 1300hrs GMT+1 local time, 25 Oct 2010. Quotes from contractors without a valid CCR registration after this date will not be considered. USAF will provide a CCR handbook to the contractors upon requests. //When price quotations are submitted please note that quotes should be exclusive of Value Added Tax.
