- Pre-solicitation Notice HSSCCG-10-Q-00395 NAICS: 541930 This is a pre-solicitation notice published in accordance with FAR 5.203 announcing that a solicitation will be published in the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) no earlier than October 8, 2010 for Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) services, for the Training and Career Development Division (TCDD) of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The USCIS TCDD has a requirement for Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) Services to aid hearing-impaired students who attend a USCIS training class. Each training class may range from between 1 and 28 classroom days depending on the class. USCIS facilities in the Dallas, Texas area including the Academy Training Center will be the primary locations where the CART Services are needed. However, services may also be required at other USCIS facilities within the Continental United States. This acquisition will be a total small business set-aside. The acquisition is expected to result in a multiple award BPA. Each BPA will have a total period of performance of 5 years and a total ceiling amount of $990,000. This notice is not a request for quotes and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. All questions concerning this competition must be directed in writing via email to donata.sikon-amato@dhs.gov. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone. The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through FedBizOpps. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available, therefore, no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the document will be accepted. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through FedBizOpps.
