- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the Department of Treasury, intends to issue a sole-source purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial services to Bloomberg L.P. for Bloomberg Anywhere. This is a proprietary stand-alone system that provides the OCC with real-time news, data, analytics, and multimedia services on a single easy-to-use platform. The purchase order will represent a renewal to the agency's existing subscription. The period of performance for this requirement is October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, with a one-year renewal option. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received within 5 days after the date of this notice with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
