- This proposed contract action is for REES Scientific Corporation for the Maintenance and Repair the CENTRON temperature monitoring system. The Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The source is: REES Scientific Corporation 1007 Whitehead Road EXT Ste 1 Trenton, NJ 08638-2405 CAGE Code: 04DK0 NAICS: 339112 JUSTIFICATION: As required by FAR 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer has determined that the above-mentioned is the only company that can provide the service maintenance and repair of the proprietary equipment CENTRON . IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The government will only consider firm, fixed price quotations. The attached solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-43. It is the contractor s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at www.acquisition.gov and/or www.acq.osd.mil. Quotations will be evaluated based on technical capability, price, and past performance, and both technical capability and past performance combined are approximately equal to price. Award will be made on an all or none basis. The government will only consider firm, fixed price quotations.
