- Description
- The Army Geospatial Center, Contracts Office intends to award a Sole Source, Fixed Price, Contract to Lizard Tech for GeoExpress Software, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Lizard Tech is the sole source that offers the GeoExpress software license and maintenance. The software is able to edit and manipulate geospatial imagers using tools such as reprojecting, color balancing, mosaicking, cropping, and despeckling and is interoperable with ArcGIS, a product used more widely within the DoD. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is 27 September 2010.
