- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Regional Counseling Service has identified a requirement for Early Intervention and Transition Assistance for OEF/OIF Combat Veterans and Their Family Members In accordance with Public Law 110-387 Section 302, Pilot Program on Provision of Readjustment and Transition Assistance to Veterans and Their Families in Cooperation with Vet Centers; the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS) has identified a requirement to contract with a social service provider for outreach services in the area near Martin, SD. The contractor will contact and coordinate transition, outreach and counseling services through the host Vet Center. Outreach will be accomplished, at a minimum, by attendance and presentations at public events, social engagements, fairs. The awarded contractor shall interact with social service organizations to provide information on the availability and processes for referral and acquiring support from host Vet Center and RCS.
