- The US Army Contracting Agency, Mission & Installation Contracting, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Genetec Inc,2280 Boul Alred-Nobel Bureau 400, Saint Laurent, QC H4S2A4, CAN for the purchase of Hard-Mount AutoVu Patroller Kit (Dual Unit) with sharp16 mm lens and sharp 25mm lens and 850 nm (IR) illumination (QTY 3), Genetec Security Center Base Package (Software)Version 4.0 (QTY 2), GSC AutoVu Standard Base Package (QTY 2), AutoVu Mobile Hotlist system onsite turn-key installation for 1 vehicle (QTY 3), Warranty upgrade (QTY 3), USB GPS unit capable of tracking the exact location of infraction (QTY3), Dell XT2 XFR kit- Mounting solution included(QTY 2), UPGRADE TO FORT MEADES EXISTING PACKAGE: (QTY 1). The contract will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Mr. Richard Taylor via email at richard.taylor1@us.army.mil no later than 25September 2010, 12:00 PM EDT.
