- Description
- The purpose of this sole-source synopsis is to notify industry that US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) intends to issue a sole source contract to Universal Strategy Group, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The contract will be issued in accordance with FAR 19.1406. The proposed contract action is for targeted studies. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received by 12:00 EST on 26 September 2010 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
