Description
Marine Corp Base Hawaii - Kaneohe Bay is soliciting for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Tags brand name or equal to the Omni-ID Max HD Tag with the following salient characteristics: (1) Must comply with International Standards Organization (ISO) 18000-6C (EPC Gen 2 Clas 1 UHF Standard), (2) Extended user memory greater than or equal to 512 bits, (3) 3M 4026 Foam Adhesive, (4) Enclosure Ingress Protection (IP) 67 (Protected against the effects of immersion), (5) Polycarbonate Casing, (6) Minimum Read Range on Metal Surface: 15 Feet, (7) Operating Temperature: -40 to 100 degrees C, and (8) Desired Enclosure Color: Olive Green and Desert Tan (Separate CLINS in the solicitation will specify the color required). Total Quantity Required: 107,264. This requirement is being issued as a synopsis for commercial items in accordance with FAR 5.203, as supplemented with additional information included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) M00318-10-T-0112. The contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the solicitation. The acquisition will be conducted using full and open competition and will not be set aside for small businesses. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The government requires FOB Destination pricing to Jacksonville, FL and Albany, GA. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation close date of 27 September 2010, 12 Noon (HST).
