Description
Updating previously posted Notice for this Solicitation. Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, HI, 96860 intends to award a commercial, firm fixed price contract for Seal Delivery Vehicle Team One (SDVT 1), Pearl Harbor, HI 96860. SDVT 1 seeks a Contractor to provide 3 insulated personnel shelters. 2 of the shelters shall have double doors on 1 of the 8' sides and no personnel doors. The other shelter will have double doors on both 8' sides and 1 personnel door on one of the 20' sides. All three shall be insulated to external temperatures of 10 degrees F. The 20' insulated personnel shelters will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13 “ Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 19 “ Small Business Programs. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 332420. A request for a complete quote package will be available for download on or about 23 September 2010 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
