- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO INCLUDE THE CORRECT RESPONSE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 28, 2010. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN THE SAME. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Animal and Plant Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Service (VS), Laredo, TX, anticipates soliciting for proposals and awarding a construction contract for a contactor to construct receiving pens at the Import Inspection facility at Pharr, TX (San Juan Plantation Import Inspection Pens). The solicitation will be issued on or about September 22, 2010. The solicitation will be posted to this website. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this website only. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the USDA. This is a Small Business Set Aside under NAICS Code 238190; size standard $14M. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. A competitive solicitation along with technical data will be available by electronic posting within the next 7 days and may be found at https://www.fbo.gov no earlier than September 22, 2010, Solicitation Number AG-6395-S-10-0173. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFEROR'S REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE.
