- NAICS Code: 611710 THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT, NOT AN RFQ. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Air and Radiation, Climate Protection Partnerships Division intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to ACI of Waynsboro, PA. The purpose of this acquisition is to organize and manage a series of conferences that support EPAs national Home Performance with ENERGY STAR mission. The conferences will provide technical and marketing training for contractors and offer unique opportunities for our Home Performance with ENERGY STAR sponsors to augment their programs. These events will also advance the greenhouse gas emission reduction goals. ACI is uniquely qualified to perform this work as they have over 25 years of experience in promoting residential energy efficiency. They have been successful at inspiring excellence in home performance contracting by promoting a whole-house approach through national and regional conferences. They are well qualified to organize and implement conferences on issues of improving residential energy efficiency through home performance contracting and is the premier organizer of conferences that promote a whole-house building approach to improving the energy efficiency of existing homes in the United States. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. No contract will be awarded on the basis of orders received in response to this notice. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requrements as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
