- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Software maintenance for File-Aid MVS The contractor shall: Provide 12 months of maintenance support of File-Aid MVS (used by customers, systems programmers, and application developers to meet a variety of data management and data manipulation requirements) software to the Pentagon Data Center Services Directorate. Plus provide software updates via electronic keys, to the Data Center Technical Point of Contact to ensure software is operational (if necessary). MIPS: 946. POP: September 30, 2010 to September 29, 2011.
