Description
The U.S. Army is conducting a briefing to Industry in support of the Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV) Program Request for Proposal. This event is scheduled on October 1st, 2010 from 9:00AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Time with check in from 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn, 600 Town Center Drive, Dearborn, MI 48126-2793 The goals of this meeting are fourfold: 1) to familiarize participants with the GCV requirements for the Technology Development Phase 2) to promote understanding of the proposal requirements 3) to promote networking among potential program participants. 4) to familiarize industry with the Army's vision for the Ground Combat Vehicle program During the Industry Day, a method of receiving feedback and responding to questions from industry regarding the GCV requirement will be announced. A solicitation will not be released prior to this Industry Day nor will a draft solicitation be presented at this event. Separate, pre-registration is required for Industry Day attendance. Participants must register prior to 28 September 2010 by sending an e-mail to DAMI_GCV@conus.army.mil. The e-mail must contain the name of the firm, the firms CAGE code, firms principal line of business, and the names and citizenship of the individual(s) from the firm planning to attend. Attendance at this event is not required to respond to any subsequent Request for Proposal nor will not attending impact an offeror's ability to obtain GCV RFP information that they would otherwise be able to receive. The slides presented will be posted to TACOM PROCNET after the event takes place. Attendance will be limited to no more than four individuals per firm/organization. If a firm has multiple divisions, up to eight may attend but no more than four from each division. In no case will any single firm, no matter how many divisions be allowed more than eight seats. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and will be cutoff prior to 28 September 2010 should the location reach capacity.
