- This Request for Quote (RFQ), N00104-11-Q-Q089, for commercial hardware support prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ; said hardware maintenance is to be purchased for the NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL (NPS), located in Monterey, CA. NAVICP Mechanicsburg intends to procure LANDesk Software Maintenance and subscription; see below for specifics. Period of performance is for one year. Brand name equivalent is not acceptable see. SUBSTITUTE SERVICES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The NAICS associated with this purchase is 511210, Software Publishers. To be considered for award, vendors must be AUTHORIZED LANDesk distributor or reseller. Vendors must quote ALL items to be considered for award. QUOTES MUST BE VALID FOR 30 DAYS. A firm fixed price purchase order(s) will be issued based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote (inclusive of options). Offerors should provide Remit To address, if applicable. All responsible sources may submit a quotation for consideration. Quotes must be emailed to NAVICP Code 0271.A14 at amanda.goddard@navy.mil. All quotes are due by 9:00 AM Eastern, 27 September 2010. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors should provide Remit To address, if applicable; they are also reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Jun 08) and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Jun 05) with its offer. FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (Apr 08) is incorporated, Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items (Oct 08), is hereby incorporated by reference. Clause 52.212-5 (Jan 09), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract and DFARs clause 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests is hereby incorporated by reference. 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
