- NOTICE OF SOURCES SOUGHT: There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This sources sought is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Data Sciences (DS) Radio and Frequency Section at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM to determine potential sources technically capable and qualified to provide replacement ground-to-air radios. DS is seeking a provider for the replacement of 7 AN/GRC-171 UHF and AN/GRC211 VHF radios with the following specifications: "Have ability to operate in UHF band between 225-400MHz and in VHF band between 118-140MHz. "Transmitter must be capable of minimum output of 20W either as a stand-alone unit or in combination with an external amplifier, either of which must be accomplished employing amplitude modulation (AM). "Must be suited for mounting in standard 19 inch rack. "Minimum 25kHz channel spacing. "Suitable for use in National Airspace System. "Provide means of remotely controlling radio settings, frequency and power, as well monitor health and welfare of system. The North American Industry code for this acquisition is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. The information and capabilities submitted by the vendors will be used to prepare a prospective offerors list and aid in acquisition strategy. Include any suggestions on what your firm would consider standard commercial practices. Also, indicate what type of company your business is (small business, 8(a), veteran-owned small business, etc.). Again, participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if a solicitation is not issued. Any responses to this notice expressing interest in being considered for this proposed contract should include the following: Company Name, Point of Contact, Address, Telephone and Fax numbers, E-mail address, Business Size, DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax ID number. Notice to Potential Offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the DOD must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) as well as, the Wide Area Work Flow System (WAWF). All interested offerors should submit their information by email to Jennifer.Brown20@us.army.mil no later than 4 October 2010.
