Description
The Stryker Surgical Stretchers and Special Care Patient beds are necessary to comply with protocol standards set for the care of hospital patients. This purchase request is for four different types of stretchers and patient beds. Each is designed for a particular function/feature. The Special Care Patient Bed, Cardiac (Model FL27 In-Touch Non-Zoom 2131-000-000-AH), allows the staff to set warnings and reminders to assist with the patients care. This bed monitors the patient s weight continuously and provides a weight history graph of the last 50 weights. The Multi-function foot end Touch Screen provides the ability to collect, display, and process patient and bed status information. It features a three-zone Chaperone Bed exit system that monitors patient position and alerts changes via local or remote alarm. It has an extensive language program that enables the staff to communicate with Limited English Proficiency patients. Real-time information is available from all In-Touch beds. The Special Care Patient Bed, Bariatric (Model BARI 10-ATM 2230-000-000-AH), has a 1000lb Patient Capacity and a Length of 80 with an Integrated Bed Extender (8 ). The Arise 1000EX Bariatric surface can be customized to each patient with intuitive controls and inflatable width and length air bladers. Individual therapy cells will evenly distribute the patients weight and maximizes pressure relief that insures patient comfort. In bed scale that can have repeatable weight checks in any position promoting staff efficiency and accuracy. The Prime Stretcher w/Big Wheel (1079-000-000-AH) has a 700lb Capacity. Dual side-mounted foot control hydraulics with Uni-Lower Pedal, Glideaway Siderail with integrated Foot End Push/Pull Handles and less that 21 low height allows easier access to the patient. It has a 30 patient surface. The Stryker Eye Stretcher (1079-000-000-AH) offers the greatest head end clearance in the industry. It allows delicate surgical procedures with optimal accessibility for the surgeon and comfort for the patient. It has a dual-articulating headpiece that allows infinite positioning for maximum surgical access because this stretcher is stable enough for surgery, mobile enough for transport and comfortable enough for patient recovery. It reduces the risk of back strain for the staff by decreasing the need to transfer the patient from Prep, Transport, Surgery, and then Recovery.
