- Description
- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Lee, VA, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Grey Gate, 3617 Saunders Avenue, P.O. Box 11470, Richmond, VA 23230 to provide, furnish and install a solution to upgrade the existing APC 40kva UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply), with distribution to an 80kva UPS system with distribution. This is a follow-on requirement and award to another source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. This acquisition will be procured under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Quote, Proposal or Invitation for Bid. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax or email requests will not be honored. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Interested parties may submit their capabilities package to the e-mail address below, by 3:00 p.m. 17 SEPTEMBER 2010, however information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition is within the discretion of the Government.
