- Services Non Personal: The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment personal protective equipment and clothing, hearing protection, eye protection including prescription safety glasses, materials and parts, transportation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK, to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Remedial Maintenance (RM) on the two Varian Digilab FTS-4000 Infrared Spectrometers. The contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to the manufacturer's equipment specifications and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a Time and Materials (T&M) CLIN is contemplated. The period of performance is: Base Year 01 Oct 2010 - 30 Sept 2011 Option I 01 Oct 2011 - 30 Sept 2012 Option II 01-Oct 2012 - 30 Sept 2013 The estimated award date is: 30 Sept 2010. Request for Quote (RFQ): FA8125-10-Q-0409 This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed type contract with a Time and Material Line Item. The Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC/PKEA) at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma intends to award a sole source contract to Varian, Inc., the original equipment manufacturer. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees.
