Description
SP0600-10-R-0236_Amendment-2 DESC intends to competitively award requirements of 39,790,000 USG of TS-1 jet fuel (NSN 9130-01-491-2201), 21,900,000 USG of JP-8 jet fuel (NSN 9130-01-031-5816), 10,220,000 USG of diesel fuel (spec GOST 305-82) (NSN 9140-01-492-7612), and 4,380,000 USG of automotive gasoline (NSN 9130-01-526-8488) to be delivered on an FOB Destination to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. DESC will also have requirements for a reserve of TS-1 fuel to be held in country by the offeror(s) awarded the delivery requirement for TS-1. Fuel for these requirements must be sourced from northern routes/sources; Pakistani supply routes/sources will not be accepted for these requirements. Resulting contracts will be requirements-type fixed price with economic price adjustment contract. This requirement is solicited in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Period of performance is 01 SEP 2011 – 31 AUG 2013. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 AUG 2010. One of more of the items under this acquisition is subject to World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government shall have the right to extend this contract on the same terms and conditions one or more times for a total of no more than six months. Notice of contract extension will be furnished to the Contractor not later than 30 days prior to expiration of the contract ordering period or any extension thereof. Nothing in this clause precludes the Contractor from agreeing to an extension of the contract if the DLA ENERGY Contracting Officer fails to issue the notice prior to 30 days before the end of the ordering period.
