Description
RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORAMTION PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINES (NLM) American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Project. In accordance with FAR Part 5.7, Publicizing Requirements Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (AARA), this is a notification of a competitive award, Time-and-Materials (T&M), for HHSN2762010510P (Interactive Drama, Inc.) under the requirement entitled RECOVERY - Professional Information Technology Program and Technical Services to Support the Remote Virtual Dialog Software Research Project. This requirement is being awarded in accordance with the rules and regulations of FAR Part 19 under the Small Business Innovations Research Program (Phase III). It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health (NIH), to competitively award a Time-and-Materials (T&M) Purchase Order to Interactive Drama, Inc. This project for the remote virtual dialogue software research is a joint effort for NLM. The new research effort will develop advanced virtual dialog software which will overcome the problems imposed by the lack of several Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees when using the Internet. A continuation of this project will provide the program server to service more than one user at a time. NLM's in house "Dialogues in Science" provides visitors with a variety of virtual dialogue program featuring renowned biomedical scientist. The completion of the research web based educational programs to enhance virtual interactive conversations in an ATA Compliant mode. The ARRA funding will allow Interactive Drama for provide free and open information made available using the Internet for new development in products and services. Introducing a new ADA compliant mode for gaining access to such information will encourage the development of new products and services. This open source software will provide long term benefits to stimulate employment for people who can use the web services as required by ADA standards. This notice is for informational purpose only.
