- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: MATOC As part of Operations and Maintenance, Army, Recovery Act, this modification has been issued to HDB Construction, Inc., to perform the following work: (1) Delete Bid Item 64 to provide lighting and electrical system to Hartford Boat ramp light. See necessity of change. (2) Increase quantity Bid Item No. 66, 18-inch riprap, an additional 216 tons to provide added protection to the Hartford Park boat ramp slope as well as provide added bank stabilization to the adjacent slopes. Riprap shall be placed as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative. Installation of riprap shall be in accordance with the MATOC specifications. (3) The Contractor shall furnish and install an additional 250 square feet of segmental wall construction to complete retaining walls on selected sites. The segmental block shall be the same make, type, color as other blocks previously used. Constuction shall be in strict accordance with the provided specifications.
