- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source ProcurementPRAqua / NAICS 115210 / Product Code 66 / PSC 6625 The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Portland Oregon intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition Procedures for the acquisition of Vaki Riverwatcher Standard System. This unit is being purchased for Lahontan National Fish Hatchery located in Gardnerville NV. PR Aqua is the supplier of the Vaki unit, the USFWS has this unit in multiple locations at Makah, Quinault, Quilcene & Dworshak and have found it to be the unit of choice and the only unit so far found that can measure the most diverse size of fish and ideally suited for use with the existing pump pressure moving fish. No solicitation or request for quote is available for this procurement; PRAqua has proprietary information that may not be released to compete. Nevertheless, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting the USFWS requirements described herein may submit a response no later than 9/21/2010, by COB to be considered. Responses to this posting must submit in writing via e-mail only. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
