Description
NOTICE OF INTENT The 802d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Information Access Solutions, Inc., 16011 Prestwick Ct., Montclair, VA 22025-1732 for the purchase of renewing the existing Basic Military Trainee Auto Registration, Mini-Registration, and Lab Ordering Web Application telephone/e-mail support agreement. This system is used to register Basic Trainees into the Composite Health Care system, order labs, and track lab results. The period of performance is 1 Oct 2010 - 30 Sep 11 with two (2) one-year option periods. FAR 52.232-18 availability of funds is applicable. Information Access Solutions is the creator and the exclusive supplier of system support. Due to propriety nature of the software, there are no other companies that can provide support for this system. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b) (2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation for offers. However, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any interested party may inquire with the below point of contacts. STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Description of services: The purpose of this agreement is to provide telephone/e-mail support for the Basic Military trainee (BMT) Auto Registration and Lab Ordering software program. 1.1 Telephone/E-mail Support. Customer must be available at least eight (8) hours, from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. (CST) per day, Monday through Friday, to assist with problem resolution and product usage questions.
