- THIS IS A NOTICE OF AWARD, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VA Heartland Network 15 has made an award for construction services to complete Project No. 589A5-10-104 Correct Medical Gas Deficiencies, at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center, 2200 Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66622. This was a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) sole source award. The Government has awarded contract no. VA255-C-1597 to Service Disabled Contracting, 406 N. Sumac, Gardner, 66030 in the amount of $459,597.00 The sole source determination is justified in accordance with VAAR section 819.7007 as published in VAAC 2008-01. A contracting officer may award contracts to SDVOSB concerns on a sole source basis as a business decision wholly within their discretion. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the Size Standard is $33.5 Million. The estimated completion period is 120 calendar days after the receipt of notice to proceed.
