- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of baked goods for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Florence, Colorado. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from effective Date of Award through 12 months from effective Date of Award, and one 12 month option period for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The estimated 12 month contract requirement is (163,000 loaves Whole Wheat Bread) (5,513 Packages Hot Dog Buns) (26,200 Packages Hamburger Buns) (25,400 Packages Hoagie Rolls) (1,734 Packages Kaiser Buns) (2,500 Packages Dinner Rolls) (2,100 Loaves Rye Bread) (17,000 Loaves Texas Toast) (2,600 Loaves 100% Kosher Whole Wheat Bread). The solicitation will be available on or about September 23, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about October 26, 2010. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be unrestricted.
