Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation number W911RZ-10-T-0322. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. Fort Carson intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for Scarpa brand ski boots. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339920 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is unrestricted and all interested offerors may submit quotations. Scarpa brand ski boots are being acquired as a BRAND NAME requirement. The brand name J&A is attached. The Scarpa brand ski boots are manufactured by Scarpa, Italy and distributed by Scarpa North America, 3550 Frontier Avenue, Boulder, CO 80301. Delivery terms are 30 days ARO. The Scarpa ski boot specifications are: The ski boot must be a 4-buckle AT boot. The boot must be flexible to provide good touring performance. The boot must have a selectable walk and ski mode, which locks down the boot upper for downhill travel. The boot must have replaceable Intuition boot liner. Additional ski boot specifications are: a.Inner boot: intuition thermo moldable liner b.The shell, cuff, tongue material shall be 100% pebax renew c.Four buckles plus a power strap. The four buckles shall be of a non reflective coating or anodized. d. Color: Anthracite Gray with Black Tongue and Cuff e. Weight: 6.96 lbs per pair f. Dynafit Quickstep Tech binding fittings g.
