- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806- 5000, on behalf of PM IED Defeat/ Protect Force intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the acquisition of two (2) McCurdys Armor Configuration B from Dynamic Defence Materials, LLC on a sole source basis. Other than Full and Open Competition is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302 -1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Delivery shall be required within 45 days of contract award. This notice is not a request for proposals. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be posted on the US Army JM&L, LCMC Procurement Network website located http://procnet.pica.army.mil and https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 30 September 2010, along with the redacted J&A authorizing the use of brand name components. Please note this notice does not constitute a Request For Proposals (RFP).
