- Description
- Omaha District Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to American Ordnance, LLC, 17575 Highway 79, Middletown, IA 52638-9700. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. American Ordnance, LLC presently provides all operations and maintenance for production at the ammunition plant and can provide the required engineering service and information on existing interior building HVAC, electrical, water, and steam utility systems, and alleviate contract problems with production schedules in the secure building locations on short notice. American Ordnance LLC is located within the ammunition plant and has the appropriate security clearances for their personnel. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 5:00 p.m. CST on September 24, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to polina.a.poluektova@usace.army.mil with solicitation number W9128F-10-P-0105 referenced in the subject line.
