- This synopsis is for the following item: Item 0001 NSN 6105-01-579-4195 EW APPLICABLE: AN/AAR-44 SYSTEM. NOUN: CONTROL MOTOR, P/N: PJH203A FUNCTION: Designed to provide warning of infrared guided missiles and pass information to countermeasures system. DESTINATION: SW3119 TRANSPORTATION: FOB ORIGIN INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE: SOURCE There is a MISSION ESSENTIAL QUANTITY of 62 each; MEQ: Min Qty 31 Max Qty 93 Ordering Period MEQ Opton Quantity: Ordering Period 1: Min Qty 20 Max Qty 40 PRODUCTION: First Article Option Quantity: 2 Basic Production Quantity: 1-30 Ordering Period Production Quantity: 3 out-year Options for 1-30 each. Item 0002 (same as 0001): FIRST ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS, 2 each. DELIVERY: Basic Quantity, 6 months ARO First Article, 180 days after ARO. The approximate RFP issue date will be 11 August 2010 with the approximate response date of 15 Sept 2010. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be acceptable. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation TO: MPC Products Corporation (19710), 5600 W Jarvis Ave, Niles IL 60077-3290 Proposals received in response to the solicitation will be evaluated utilizing a Performance-Price Tradeoff, as described in the RFP. Authority: 10USC 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies (or services) will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors shall contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. INSURANCE BUY: This acquisition will be processed in accordance with AFMC FAR Sup 5352.217-9006 (Award of Mission Essential Quantity): Authority 10USC 2304(c)(1). The anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity. Response date has been extended to 1 October 2010.
