THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VA Salt Lake City Health Care System is performing market research to determine if there is sufficient number of qualified Contractors to set aside for Tightness Testing of Underground Fuel Storage service(s) with a priority on a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Acquisition. The Government will use responses to this notice to make the appropriate acquisition decision. The proposed solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiations. Interested and qualified sources that fall into the above mentioned socio-economic categories are invited to submit their Capability Statements, no later than the date stated in this announcement, consisting of appropriate documentation including all certifications, literature and references that include current point(s) of contract and telephone number(s). Responses must include documented references and current certification(s) for performing the stated services. Include source, location, scope of work, timeliness of performance and customer satisfaction. This requirement will be to conduct tightness testing in accordance with UST regulations on underground storage tanks and provide a report detailing the condition of each system and pass/fail of UST tightness standards at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System, 500 Foothill Blvd., Salt Lake City, Utah, 84148. Submit your capability statements to the contracting Officer shown below no later than 1:00 p.m. (Mountain Time). September 24, 2010.
