Description

THIS IS A REISSUE OF THE PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED SOLICITATION Q9453100022 THAT WAS CANCELLED. GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to fall, top or trim hazardous dead and live trees located in various developed areas within Mount Rainier National Park. The contract is for falling, topping or trimming only; the contractor will not be responsible for removal of debris from the park. Approximate number of trees to receive treatment is 60. Tree climbing will be required for a number of trees with heights ranging to over 200 ft. SOLICITATION INFORMATION:The solicitation will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov twebsites on or about September 15, 2010. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This procurement is a Request for Quotations and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items. The NAICS code for this project is 115310 and the small business size standard is $7 million. This procurement is offered as 100% Set-aside for Small Business. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation. Responses will be due approximately 13 days following issuance of solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTE:In order to receive contract award, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) databases.
