B) QUESTION: The last line item #13 in your RFQ is for a 4" aluminum air vent, female iron pipe threads, 96 pcs. Could you please give me some idea of what this part will do how it is used? ANSWER: Basically they are an air pressure relief valve. When the water pushes into the pipe the air escapes through this valve. The water will shut the valve automatically when it reaches the valve itself, that way we don't waste any water. They will be used for Irrigation purposes. C) RFP CLOSING DATE IS EXTENDED FROM SEPTEMBER 17, 2010 TO SEPTEMBER 20, 2010.
