- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is 10TC752. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43 and DFARS change notice 20100908. The Offeror must be an authorized dealer and must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror, whose offer is the best value and the most advantageous to the Government which is conforming to the solicitation. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB Point, discount Terms, availability, and how long it will take to ship to Lackland AFB, TX. Quotes must be valid through 30 September 2010. This is a 100 percent small business set aside. The NAICS Code is 441222 and the size standard in millions of dollars is $7.0M. The Items are as follows: ITEM 0001: Tracker Grizzly 16 ft (1648 SC) aluminum Jon Boat; 3 EACH ITEM 0002: Tracker 16 ft utility boat trailer, with spare tire; 3 EACH ITEM 0003: 15 hp, 4 stroke manual mercury boat outboard motor; 3 EACH ITEM 0004: Shipping to Lackland AFB, 78236; 1 LOT Equal items will be considered; if submitting an equal item, please include spec sheets and/or all relevant charactaristics. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, Offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions.
