- INT-I209.09. INT-I209.09 EXTENSION PROVISIONS (DLA ENERGY JUL 2009) The Government shall have the right to extend this contract on the same terms and conditions one or more times for a total of no more than six months. Notice of contract extension will be furnished to the Contractor not later than 30 days prior to expiration of the contract ordering period or any extension thereof. Nothing in this clause precludes the Contractor from agreeing to an extension of the contract if the DLA ENERGY Contracting Officer fails to issue the notice prior to 30 days before the end of the ordering period.
