Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N6063100923. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. JUSTIFICATION FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION: Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (PIRO) requires Motorola XTS2500 and XTS5000 units to match a substantial investment of existing radios currently in use at PIRO to assure compatibility, interoperability, training and cost efficiency for fleet brand parity purposes as well as inter-operation with local, state and federal entities. 2. Offerors must be an authorized reseller of Motorola brand products. Offerors must be able to provide an authorized reseller certification upon request. 3. No refurbished products/equipment will be considered. Delivery shall be 120 days after receipt of order FOB destination to: Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Attn: John Ochman, Maintenance Worker Supervisor, P.O. Box 40, N8391 Sand Point Road, Munising, MI 49862-0040 FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation: Commercial Items is applicable to this procurement. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable. Due to the proprietary nature of the Motorola radios, only Motorola and Motorola authorized resellers will be considered technically acceptable. Technical acceptability shall be evaluated based upon the contractor's ability to comply with all requirements stated in this solicitation.
