- HSBP1010Q0163 The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole-source order for Tower Remediation with the American Tower Corporation, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. Description of Work: CBP operates Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems within various geographic sectors across the United States. The CBP Tactical Communications (TACCOM) Project Office has completed site acquisition activities for the P25 modernization of LMR systems in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Texas. In order to begin site development implementation work, CBP needs to complete communications tower remediation to ensure the towers are structurally sound at two locations in the Rio Grande Valley, TX area. This is not a notice for competitive proposals and no formal solicitation package is available.
