- Added: Sept 14, 2010 1:20 pm Mission Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, Directorate of Contracting, intends to issue a sole source award to Dorsett Technologies, Inc., 100 Woodlyn Drive, Yadkinville, NC 27055-6673, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) on September 27, 2010, in an amount not greater than $47,868.01. The justification for the sole source is that this requirement is only available from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. Description of Requirement: The intention is to define a complete and operational HVAC control system using DDC control components that are 100% compatible with Fort Gordons 513th existing Utility Monitoring Control System (UMCS)/SCADA system to all the exchange of system information between the InfoScan workstations and the DDC system installed in the building without the need for any type of protocol converters. Dorsett Technologies installed the DDC systems at Fort Gordon between September 2003 and September 2007 and had a contract to operate and maintain the UMCS and Energy Relataed Systems. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1).
