Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: MATOC As part of the Operations and Maintenance, Army, Recovery Act, this modification has been issued to HDB Construction, Inc., to revise the following: Change from micropaving to double bituminous with a fog seal on the following roads located at Fall River Lake, Fall River, Kansas: (a) Access and Embankment Road; (b) Road A; (c) Road B; (d) 4) Road C; (e) Road D; (f) Road E; (g) Road F; (h) Shelter Parking; (i) Project Office Parking; (j) Rear Compound Road; (k) Overlook Road and Parking; (l) Scenic Pullout The process and materials are to meet KDOT specification for double bituminous chip seal. The first application is to be a 1/2-inch clean chip with oil applied at the rate of 0.37 gals per square yard. The second application is to be a 3/8-inch clean chip with oil applied at the rate of 0.32 gals per square yard. The fog seal shall be applied at a rate of 0.20 gals per square yard. The quantities shall remain the same for each area as stated in the bid schedule. Delete all micropaving work on the following roads located at Fall River Lake, Fall River, Kansas: (a) Access and Embankment Road; (b) Road A ; (c) Road B; (d) Road C; (e) Road D; (f) Road E; (g) Road F; (h) Shelter Parking; (i) Project Office Parking; (j) Rear Compound Road; (k) Overlook Road and Parking; (l) Scenic Pullout. All other contract requirements to the MATOC specifications are to be followed.
