- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with BTE Technologies 7455 New Ridge Road, Hanover, MD 21076 for an EVALTECH Complete Testing System SN # 50050017 and 40050006.This equipment can only be provided by the manufacturer BTE Technologies because it is the only computerized unit that offers all of the diagnostic assessment, outcomes measurement, and broad therapy application in one contained unit. We can only accept a footprint that is equal to or less than 10x14' which this unit is and would maintain consistency with the other units throughout the facility. Delivery of this item can be scheduled for December 31, 2010.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment must provide literature on the equipment that will be exact or comparable to what is described above and notify this Contracting Officer at Bridget.Kornish@va.gov or by telephone, 412-954-4054 NLT September 17, 2010 at Noon EST. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
