- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Department of the Air Force, Malmstrom AFB, Montana intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source for the Monaco Enterprises D-21 alarm system software and hardware upgrade. The associated NAICS code for this training aid is 334290. The vendor, Monaco Enterprises, is located at: 14820 East Sprague Avenue Spokane, Washington 99216-2191. This procurement is for the Malmstrom AFB Fire Dept response system. The software/hardware shall be compatible with the existing system which was purchased and installed by Monaco. Description of product requirements: •· Part 207-940-00: Command Decision Display Tools (CDDT) software upgrade •· Part 207-889-00: Grid coordinates software upgrade •· Part 192-034-00: 40" LCD Monitor with mounting brackets •· Part 227-062-00: D-21 View Generator •· Part 192-701-00: 4 port video splitter •· Part 192-702-00: Video extender •· Part 021-010-00: Installation and implementation •· Part 021-022-01: Installation materials •· Part 021-010-00: Formal training for 10 students •· All requested capabilities must interface with existing Monaco alarm system platform Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. Response to this notice must be received at this contracting office no later than 15 Sep 2010, by 12:00 p.m. MST.
