- The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract to install and maintenance Metro Ethernet at 12 locations on a sole source basis to Cox Communications Hampton Roads. The requested period of performance will be 27 September 2010 through 26 September 2010. Quotes may be e-mailed to candace.reid@navy.mil or faxed to 757-443-1424, attention Candace Reid. The North American Industry Classification System code is 517110 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers). The solicitation will be posted on or around 14 September 2010. The solicitation number is N00189-10-T-0596 and the complete Statement of Work is provided in the solicitation. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online and Federal Business Opportunities websites, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
