- Description
- The 700th Contracting Squadron (700 CONS) of the 89th Airlift Wing announces the projected solicitation for the Sport Official services for the Kaiserslautern Military Community, Ramstein AB Germany. The contractor shall provide sports officials, score keepers and timers in support of adult intramural and youth sports. Sports to be officiated include, but are not limited to, flag football, basketball, soccer, softball, baseball and volleyball. Officials will be required to wear the uniform prescribed by the rule book governing the sport they are officiating. The NAICS code for this requirement is 711219, Other Spectator Sports (Referees and Umpires). Performance of this requirement will be accomplished entirely overseas. This acquisition will be competed as full and open. The Government contemplates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ). Interested sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to the RFQ will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures. The Government shall issue an award to a single business using a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract; evaluation factors will be provided in the solicitation. The Period of Performance will be 1 Oct 2010 - 31 Dec 2010 for the base period. Option line items may be exercised that would extend performance up to an additional three months beyond the base period. Services shall be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The closing date and time for submission of offers shall be contained in the solicitation. The entire solicitation package, including the Standard Form 1449 and continuation pages and the Statement of Work shall be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website for the release of the solicitation, which should be on or about on or about 13 Sep 2010. Interested parties are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any copies of associative amendments, if applicable. All offerors wishing to submit a quote to the solicitation described herein MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database as well as the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database or risk their otherwise-timely quote being considered non-responsive regardless of its completeness, timeliness or other salient considerations.
