- This notice is to inform potential PRIME contractors interested in the KC-X Aircrew Training System requirement of the upcoming Industry Days event to be held at ALTUS AFB Oklahoma from 18 Oct 2010 through 21 Oct 2010. If you wish to attend this event, please send a list of no more than three representatives to the following individuals by 4:00PM EST, Thursday, 16 September 2010. Capt Ian A. Newcomb ian.newcomb@wpafb.af.mil AND Mr. Clay McAnally clayton.mcanally@wpafb.af.mil A follow-up notice will be posted no later than Friday, 17September with further details regarding the sequence of events, topics, one-on-one sessions with contractors, and instructions for submission of program specific questions. The following schedule is subject to change. This preliminary schedule is for planning purposes only. MONDAY, 18 OCTOBER: 3:00-4:00PM: MEET AT DET 2, BLDG 87 WITH CONTRACTOR TEAM LEADS TUESDAY, 19 OCTOBER: 8:00AM - 12:00: PM MEET AT BASE THEATER, BLDG 414, FOR GOVERNMENT PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND GROUP Q & A SESSION 1:00 - 5:00PM: GROUP TOURS WEDNESDAY, 20 OCTOBER: 8:00AM - 5:00PM: ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS THURSDAY, 21 OCTOBER: 8:00 - 10:00AM: FINAL GROUP Q & A SESSION AND WRAP-UP DIRECTIONS FROM MAIN GATE TO CONFERENCE LOCATIONS Exact conference locations on Altus AFB are subject to change and will be finalized at the time of the follow-on notice for KC-X ATS Industry Days. The tentative locations and directions are as follows: Main Gate to AMC Det 2 (Bldg 87 - 510 N. 6th Street): After departing the Main Gate, take the 1st left turn (behind the Commissary) and follow the road all the way until it ends, then turn right at the Child Development Center (CDC). Proceed down the road until it bends to the right. Det 2 is right at the bend and across the street from the golf course driving range. Main Gate to Base Theater (Bldg 414): After departing the Main Gate, take the 3rd exit out of the round-about. Make a right turn onto "F" Avenue. The Base Theater is on the left side of street. Main Gate to Freedom Community Center (FCC - Bldg 148): After departing the Main Gate, take the 3rd exit out of the round-about. Make a right turn onto "F" Avenue. Make a left turn onto 5th Avenue then make a right turn onto "E" Avenue. The FCC is on the left side of the street.
