- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 409th CSB Theater Contracting Center intends to award one or more Firm Fixed Price contract (s) for the following MWR Entertaiment Events: 1.Native American Dance Troupe 2.Non-Celebrity Top 40 Cover Band 3.Fitness Tour 4.NFL Super Bowl Sunday 5.Professional Comedy Show 6.Non-Celebrity Country Music Band 7.WWE/WWF Meet &Greet (M&G) 8.Non-Celebrity Pop / Top 40 Music Band 9.Professional Volleyball M&G 10.Professional Magic Show This is a combined Synopsis / Request for Quote (RFQ). Detailed specifications will be provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ) number W912CM-10-T-0092 attached as a separate document to this Synopsis. The RFQ shall close on 24 Sep 2010 / 10:00 AM. This procurement is being done in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13.5. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFQ.
