- RECOVERY: BOILER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT *****FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY***** RECOVERY: Boiler System Replacement - Ketchikan Federal Building, Ketchikan, AK; GSA, Northwest/Arctic Region 10 ****FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY**** RECOVERY- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) Northwest/Arctic Region (Region 10) has a requirement to replace the entire heating system at the Ketchikan Federal Building in Ketchikan, AK, to include one high performance hot water system using #2 fuel oil, and one biomass boiler as a redundant boiler. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and services, as required, to replace the existing heating system with a complete condensing type boiler system with pumping system piping, one bio-mass boiler, and associated system values, power and controls, etc. THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) Magnitude of Construction: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. This acquisition will be competed among the current GSA Region 10 Northern Service Center Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) holders that service the State of Alaska. Northern Service Center MATOC Holders are: MAK3 Construction PO Box 87374 Wasilla, AK 99687 Olgoonik 360 W. Benson Blvd., Suite 302. Anchorage, AK 99503 Southwest Construction 1234 C#2 Charleston Beach Road Bremerton, WA 98312 Veterans Alaska 561 Steel Loop Palmer, AK 99645 The resultant task order will be awarded to the firm with the lowest priced technically acceptable offer which represents the best value to the Government in accordance with the terms and conditions of the base MATOC contract. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220 - "Building Alterations, Nonresidential, Commercial & Institutional (General Construction)".
