Description
Market Research and Request for Information (RFI) For Regeneration of Two (2) C-21A Aircraft for the Argentine Air Force This is an UPDATE to the previous Request for Information (RFI) Synopsis. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. There is no solicitation package available at this time. All interested parties should send company and/or descriptive literature along with responses to the following items and any comments or questions to primary: bo.lashley@tinker.af.mil or secondary: rose.akeroyd@tinker.af.mil. The responses should include a brief description of the effort required and an estimate of the cost to accomplish each line item. All responses should be received no later than 20 September 2010 at 1500 central time. All questions and comments must be in writing, no telephone calls. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. In addition to the regeneration of the aircraft, the Argentines require the following training. Line Items: 1. Contractor shall provide training for 8 pilots to include: a. 2 days of simulator training. Note: CAE Simulflight in Dallas, TX has a C- 21 simulator that the US Air Force uses. b. 3 days of classroom difference training, reviewing the differences between the Argentine Lear 35A aircraft and the C-21s 2. Contractor shall provide Level 3 maintenance training for 6 maintenance personnel. 3. Contractor shall provide an instructor pilot for each aircraft ferry flight from the United States to Argentina to provide in flight training. 4. Contractor shall provide an estimated cost for each line item, 1 through 3 above. Please note the new response date.
