- Statement of Work This requirement is a commercial acquisition for Mass Notification Equipment, being issued on a sole source basis to Federal Signal Corporation. See the following for justification rationale: ************************************************* The agency's minimum needs can only be satisfied by the unique services available from only the above cited source that possesses unique capabilities demonstrated as follows: The goal of RAFB is to provide 100% audio coverage. We currently have 100% outside coverage, yet expansions will be needed for an additional 124 buildings before 100% indoor coverage is obtained. Modification of the existing system for expansion with non-Federal Signal equipment will void existing warranties. Selecting a different vendor would require the additional purchase of expensive interface equipment and replacement of current "Head-in" assemblies. It would also significantly complicate servicing and future expansion by introducing different vendor equipment as part of a unified system. NAICS Code: 334290, 750 employees.
