- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Beacon Acquisition Solutions, LLC (BAS), 2841 Monroe St, Falls Church, VA 22042 for Subject Matter Experts in the area of financial and contracting systems and databases. BAS is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. BAS possess the credentials and the needed expertise required by the FBI. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 10:00 am, Eastern Daylight Time by September 15, 2010 by email only, to the attention of Porter F. Dunn, Contracting Officer, at porter.dunn@ic.fbi.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
