- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) # F4D3D30189A001. Submit written offers - quote template provided upon request. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 Correction and DFARS Change Notice 20100820. This procurement is being issued as a 100% service-disabled veteran-owned small business set aside under North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 423120 and Size Standard 100 employees. Project Number: F4D3D30189A001 Project Title: DPF Purchase and Installation 1. Quote shall conform to the CLIN structure as established in this synopsis/solicitation. A quote template is available upon request. 2. Quotes shall be valid for 30 days after close of solicitation. 3. Please see attached Statements of Work for detailed description of required duties. 4. Brand name products are being requested. See attached Brand Name Justifications. 5. Quotes shall include a three year history of performing similar projects. 6. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 2 September 2010 at 9 am PDT, to visit the site for the DPF Regeneration Panel installation in the XUMU00126510 SOW. All attendees are required to RSVP to Jeffrey Grelck no later than 1 September 2010 at 12:00 pm PDT. Quotes will not be considered from companies who do not attend the site visit. The site visit is no longer considered to be mandatory. Quotes will be accepted from all responsible service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. 7. All questions or comments must be provided to the Contract Specialist in writing by 3 September 2010; telephone and other means of oral communication will not be permitted. Quotes that are able to provide one filter for all vehicles will be accepted and considered for technical acceptability.
